Things are looking up ?
Well I applied for a job that is not something I would usually apply for, go figure I got an interview scheduled. It is only part-time but could lead to something more and is for an Administrative Assistant for a whole sale club. I have worked in the back office for retail gift shops previously and loved it, it was my favorite job. Unfortunately, if I get the job I have to start tomorrow and I promised to babysit Katie for her sisters graduation from elementary school. Well what can I do, can't pass up a potential job just to fulfill that obligation, which disappoints me that I have to let my niece's family down. But I know they will understand, still love me and wish me the best. Now on the positive side since it is only part-time, I will be able to work my business early in the morning and evenings. My business is taking off, my team has 10 new members this month. Woohoo! I am going to achieve the goal I set this month and it is awesome. That is it for now, my car is ready and it passed inspection with no surprises. Later!

Hello my name is Karol Eschborn
I worked in Corporate America for more than 30 years. I was laid off by my first employer after 23 years. My last boss asked me what I brought to the table and when I responded “integrity, dedication and loyalty to start with”, she informed me that was not of any value here. To which I responded “then it is time for me to move on”. As a single mom who worked 50 hours or more each week, I spent Saturdays running errands. I knew I wanted to do something different but did not know what else was out there and have always been searching for something more. So in 2000 when I experienced that first lay off, I wanted to start my own business. A concierge type company that would provide services like running errands; dropping off/picking-up dry cleaning, doing shopping, going to the post office. I recognized the need for families to spend more quality time together and enjoy time together. For eight months, I did research, bought a station wagon, created flyers and consulted with the SBA and SCORE and still did not have any idea how to do marketing and find financing. When I could not figure out how to get started I took a full time position back in Corporate America and got laid off 8 months later and decided to move from NY to VA.
I was laid off again in November of 2008, 18 months ago. Shortly after I was laid off I circled an ad in the community newspaper about dreaming and successful moms at home but put the paper aside and thought I will call after Christmas. I enrolled with Internet CEO Moms in January, 2009 because I found what I was searching for. Internet CEO Moms is a group that values integrity, dedication and loyalty, whose mission is to help each other’s reach their goals, and make family priority. It does not require any significant start up costs and would teach me how to market my business. It is more than I hoped for because it is all about wellness for my family, home and the planet. I always said the only way I would be involved in health and wellness would be if someone paid me, well that is exactly what I found. I believe in prevention and prefer to be proactive rather than reacting to situations, problems or life.
My first goal was to make enough to pay for safer/better products and I have done that. I advanced to Director in three months with the help of my enroller and I am working towards my next status. Even though I am not advancing as fast as I hoped, I am successful because I started my own business and have met some awesome women who I enjoy working with. I will achieve my goals of replacing my income, while helping other families have financial security. It is rewarding to help others and I feel I am accomplishing more in this business than I ever did in Corporate America.

First attempt at Blogging
I am new to blogging so please be patient. I need to take a look at other blogs to learn what I should be entering in my blog. I am a single mom of a seventeen year old son, have been unemployed for too long, so I am looking for a job, but my home based business is the one thing that gives me hope and strength right now. In our recent training we were informed that blogging was something we should try, so in an effort to be progressive and try new things I am forging ahead.
